LICENSE TO CARRY
4 hours classroom followed by on-site shooting qualification; most classes are held on Saturday but we do offer weekday classes upon request. Class sizes are limited, contact us to be notified of upcoming dates call 903 408 0365 or email gunsmith75440@yahoo.com
LTC Instructor Fee
Current regular priced classes; This is the instructor fee only and is non-refundable. Gift certificates are available. This is the only fee paid directly to D&J Sales and Service for your class.
State of Texas Licensing Fee
Currently, the state's fee for a Standard License is $40 and in non-refundable. Active military, or discharged within the last year and felony prosecuting attorneys are NOT charged a state fee. All required forms and fees must be submitted and accepted by the State of Texas in order for the certification class to be completed. (For other types of licenses, including peace officer, veterans and seniors, see the DPS license to carry Fee Schedule.)
Fingerprinting
The State of Texas requires electronic fingerprint submission and a background check for all applicants. The state approved vendor for fingerprinting is L-1 Enrollment Services. You may find your closest fingerprinting location and schedule your fingerprinting online at IdenToGo or by calling 1-888-467-2080
Firearm Rental
Handguns may be available for rent on the day of class for $10 plus the cost of ammunition. If you will need to rent a handgun, please let us know prior to class. Rental is subject to availability.
